About Us

The Nepewassi Lake Association was formed in 2008 in response to the closing of Vacationland and its launching and docking facilities. After many meetings with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, a group of concerned water access property owners banded together to finance the legal incorporation of the Nepewassi Lake Association. With that in place, they were able to enter a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Ministry and obtain approvals from several ministries to create, build and maintain what is now our public access boat launch and dock. Their dedication to the lake community has set the precedent for the amazing lake association we now enjoy. Our deepest thanks to the original members and our founding association president Sue Bertrand for their hard work and persistence.
